Yesterday on 6th May 2015, Google has officially announced a new feature update in Google Webmaster Tools, i.e. Search Analytics. They also announced that they will be keeping the older version live and accessible for next 3 months and then only the new version “Search Analytics” will be available in the Google webmaster tools.

Google was testing this tool for many months as a Search Impact Report and now they have finally launched it as a Search Analytics.
The new Search Analytics report enables the webmaster to break down their website’s search data with comparison and filters. Webmasters can now compare their search data with countries, devices, pages and more.
Google also stated that the new Search Analytics Report data is more accurate then the Search Quires Report. You can read more about how the data is calculated at Search Analytics Help Center article’s section.
I shall share more insights about this tool in my next post where I will dig deeper on how this report can help you analyze your website data.
If you have any quires or want any help on this tool, feel free to share it in the below comment box, I will be glad to answer it.
